We are seeking a **Digital Marketing Specialist** who is passionate about connecting with niche industries and leveraging digital platforms to engage businesses in the food safety and microbiology sector. This role also requires expertise in **website management**, **designing marketing materials**, and **creating engaging video content** to amplify our digital presence.

**Key Responsibilities**

As a Digital Marketing Specialist, you will:

- **Develop and Execute Campaigns**: Design and implement targeted digital marketing campaigns to promote products, services, and training programs in the food safety and microbiology sector.
- **SEO/SEM Strategies**: Optimize the company website for search engines and execute paid advertising campaigns to drive traffic and generate leads.
- **Website Management**: Oversee the design, updates, and maintenance of the company website (including **Wix**) to ensure it is visually appealing, functional, and responsive.
- **Design Marketing Materials**: Create professional brochures, catalogues, and other promotional materials that align with the company’s branding and messaging.
- **Video Marketing**: Plan, produce, and edit engaging video content for platforms like YouTube, LinkedIn, TikTok, Xiaohongshu and Instagram. This includes product demos, event highlights, and educational content.
- **Social Media Management**: Manage and grow our presence on platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Xiao Hong Shu, TikTok, Xiaohongsh and Instagram by sharing engaging content tailored for industry professionals.
- **Analytics and Reporting**: Monitor and analyze the performance of digital campaigns using tools like Google Analytics and provide insights for continuous improvement.
- **Industry Insights**: Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in the food safety and microbiology industry to inform marketing strategies.
- **Event Promotion**: Collaborate with internal teams to promote webinars, workshops, and exhibitions related to food safety and microbiology.

**Qualifications and Skills**
- **Experience**: Minimum 2 years in digital marketing, with preference for experience targeting niche industries such as food safety, microbiology, or science-related sectors.
- **Technical Skills**: Proficiency in Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, SEO/SEM tools, and video editing software.
- **Design and Video Creation**: Proficiency in tools like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, and video editing platforms to create engaging visuals and videos for marketing purposes.
- **Content Creation**: Strong copywriting skills with the ability to create industry-specific and engaging content.
- **Language Proficiency**: Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; additional language skills (e.g., Mandarin or Tamil) are an advantage.
- **Analytical Skills**: Competent in using tools like Google Analytics to monitor and improve campaign performance.
- **Website Management**: Experience managing and updating CMS platforms such as **Wix**. Knowledge of basic HTML, CSS, and UX/UI principles is an advantage.
- **Educational Background**: Degree or Diploma in **Digital Marketing**, **Marketing**, **Advertising**, **Multimedia Design**, **Communications**, or a related field.
- **Soft Skills**: Creative, detail-oriented, and a proactive problem solver with excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
