Sourcing & P2p Manager - Bom

**Responsibilities**:
**About the role**
The BOM Sourcing Manager will be part of a focused, high caliber procurement team and will have the responsibility for developing and implementing the procurement strategy for a broad spectrum of BOM (Semiconductor related preferable) covering the manufacturing location in Seremban, Malaysia.

The sourcing manager concerns complex direct materials strategies and projects, including stakeholder management and negotiations.

Proven experience in a manufacturing environment and direct material purchasing is required with experience in BOM material and chemical, preferred in Semiconductor or Automotive environment.

**What you will do**

Supplier Sourcing
- Work hand in hand with Global Sourcing Managers in the implementation of commodity sourcing strategies at site.
- Conduct market survey and identify potential local suppliers for BOM materials and chemical.
- Sourcing of local suppliers for BOM materials including chemical for risk mitigation and cost reduction target.
- Lead new supplier assessment with cross-functional team through quality system audit and process capability audit, and follow through on mutually agreed quality improvement programs
- Negotiation for and procurement of BOM materials including chemicals and implements provisions of Purchase Order and other contracts e.g. Consignment Agreement, VMI, etc.
- Project Management - Drive cross-functional teams to achieve risk mitigation and yearly cost reduction targets.
- Facilitates timely arrival of qualification samples and communicate to supplier new development-related projects
- Ensure supply continuity during ramp-up’s and manage suppliers during slow down’s; manage phase-in/phase-out plans for material purchases for new products and discontinued products.
- Vendor performance assessment through quarterly SRS (Supplier Rating System) and review meeting with suppliers

P2P (Procure to Pay)
- Adherence to / compliance of global policies and procedures.
- Drive P2P standardization and elimination of nonstandard ways of working within P2P.
- Implementation / coordination of NXP central initiatives / project across site (e.g., Ariba, SAP VIM - Vendor Invoice Management).
- Local escalation handling towards Wipro.
- KPI results (P2P process and hands free related).
- Optimize catalogue usage.
- Support Wipro in achieving the throughput times (SC X1 approval and PR to PO) à occasionally for very urgent PO’s.
- Delivery management escalation handling (Initiate actions towards suppliers in case of overdue deliveries (e.g., non confirmation);
- Overdue parked and blocked invoices (escalation level in case of no approval from site).

Review and monitor the GR/IR position and identify which lines can be written off.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Finance/Business or equivalent is required
- 7 years of Global Semicon BOM sourcing experience
- Experience in managing and/or leading international commercial procurement projects
- Strong Negotiation

- Ability to prioritize and work on multiple activities at one time
- Attention to details and understanding the overall picture or given scenario
- Ability to work independently in a dynamic and ambiguous global environment supporting multiple time zones
