Procurement Executive

A Procurement Executive is responsible for managing the entire purchasing process, from identifying needs and sourcing suppliers to negotiating contracts and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services. This role is crucial for maintaining cost-effectiveness, optimal inventory levels, and high service standards within the hotel.
1. Sourcing and Supplier Management:
- **Identify potential vendors**:Research and evaluate new suppliers for various hotel needs, including food and beverage, housekeeping, and general supplies.
- **Negotiate contracts**:Secure favorable pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers.
- **Maintain supplier relationships**:Build and nurture strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure smooth operations and access to the best deals.
- **Manage supplier performance**:Monitor supplier performance, ensuring timely delivery, quality standards, and compliance with contracts.
- **Conduct market research**:Stay informed about market trends, new products, and potential cost-saving opportunities.
2. Procurement Operations:
- **Oversee the purchasing process**:Manage the entire procurement cycle, from initial request to final purchase order and delivery.
- **Manage inventory**:Track inventory levels, identify reorder points, and ensure adequate stock of essential items.
- **Monitor and manage costs**:Analyze procurement costs, identify areas for potential savings, and implement cost-control measures.
- **Ensure compliance**:Adhere to company procurement policies and relevant regulations.
3. Collaboration and Communication:
- **Collaborate with internal departments**:Work closely with other departments to understand their purchasing needs and ensure timely supply of required items.
- **Communicate effectively**:Keep stakeholders informed about procurement activities, potential issues, and cost-saving opportunities.
4. Additional Responsibilities:
- **Develop and implement procurement strategies**: Contribute to the development and implementation of procurement strategies aligned with the hotel's overall business objectives.
- **Analyze data and prepare reports**: Generate reports on procurement activities, costs, and performance.
- **Handle procurement issues and complaints**: Resolve any issues or complaints related to procurement activities.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,600.00 per month
