**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible to advice & manage on planning, leading, organising, directing and implement the project site operations on corrosion inhibition and cathodic protection system installation.
- Overall advisory on all material purchase for corrosion & cathodic protection equipment’s and materials and advise the day to day management and ensure smooth and efficient running of the branch in the most cost-effective manner.
- To advise & study and recommend solutions on engineering methods and procedures to solve cathodic protection issues to enhance the efficiency and service level in the project site.
- To advice & prepare training modules and train project mangers on Concrete CP Installation using ZN Ribbon Anode /anticorrosion methodology using CP systems or corrosion resistant alloy.
- To advice & monitor the management of project site financial such as budget management, progress claim, retention fund and payment collection agreement.
- To advise and implement Kaizen activities for continuous improvements in projects site management in corrosion and cathodic management.
- Interpret/ engineering drawings, Design & Handling drawings, inspection reports, process parameter, process capability & functional testing report.
- Overall advisory role of the project team, in terms of manpower skill set requirements, detail type of material & equipment’s sourcing, communication and interaction with clients and monitoring the project schedule and work orders distribution.
- Advise and revise all contract administration terms and clauses, construction claims, legal and contractual issues in relation to all corrosion engineering inhibition and cathodic protection.
- Advise and maintains safe, secure and healthy work environment by establishing, following and enforcing standards and procedure; complying with legal regulations.
