Apparel Merchandiser

**Job Summary**

The Apparel Merchandiser plays a key role in assisting customers with their apparel needs, ensuring a positive shopping experience, and maintaining the store's visual appeal.

**Duties**
- Understand client requirements (design, specs, delivery timelines).
- Regularly communicate with sales for updates, approvals and feedback.
- Plan and monitor all stages of an order: from development to shipment.
- Coordinate with departments like sampling, production, quality, sourcing, and logistics.
- Develop samples as per buyer requirements (proto, fit, size set, pre-production, etc.).
- Ensure timely submission and approvals of samples and trims.
- Follow up on production status regularly.
- Solve any issues during manufacturing and ensure production runs on schedule.
- Create and maintain the Time & Action calendar for each order.
- Track all milestones like sample submissions, approvals, material in-house, production start, and shipment.
- Strong communication & negotiation skills

- Knowledge of fabrics, trims, and garment construction
- Proficiency in Excel, ERP, or PLM systems

**Skills**
- Bengali speaking Prioritized
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
- Knowledge of inventory management practices
- Familiarity with Adobe software for basic design tasks is a plus
- Multilingual abilities are advantageous for customer service
- Interest or background in interior design can enhance merchandising skills
- Training development skills to assist new team members is beneficial

Pay: Up to RM2,000.00 per month
