Functional Responsibility The Training Manager is responsible to the Head of Training for implementing, maintaining, and continuously improving training policies, plans, programs, processes, and procedures throughout the organization in accordance with and ensure continuous compliance to applicable regulatory, company requirements and international standards.

**Role Responsibilities**:

- Strengthen AirAsia brand image and customer advocacy
- Promote AirAsia’s culture within the organization
- Ensure transparency and promote good governance
- Develop talents and strengthen staff’s capability; ensure all staff receive appropriate trainings Functional Duties Ensure, at the same time assist and support Group and AOCs to:
**1. Training and Education**

‐ Perform all necessary TNA (Training Needs Analysis).

‐ Develop, maintain, and continuously improve suitable training plans, programs, processes, and procedures that ensures personnel and students are trained in accordance with the approved training programs and syllabus.

‐ Ensure training plans, programs, processes, procedures, and equipment in place are appropriate to individuals’ involvement in their duties or requirements.

‐ Ensure plans, programs, processes, procedures, and equipment to include initial and recurrent training requirements to maintain competencies.

‐ Plan and oversee all trainings are carried out accordingly.

‐ Develop and update plans, programs, processes, procedures, and equipment to meet applicable regulatory, company requirements and international standards.

‐ Identify, monitor, and ensure personnel are provided with the necessary training in order for them to perform their duties.

‐ Balancing between cost and effectiveness, identify/develop and utilize suitable and effective media for the necessary trainings.

‐ Ensure training records are kept, updated, and backed up in the designated company system(s).

‐ Collect training feedback from personnel and students for continuous improvements

‐ Collect, process, apply, renew, and/or submit (as applicable) all necessary documentations and/or records to, or retrieve from, relevant bodies to ensure continuous compliance to all necessary and/or applicable bodies and agencies (for example, HRDC, government departments, financial institutions, etc.)

**2. Communication**

‐ Communicate all necessary training information, objectives, plans, programs, processes, procedures, requirements, updates or changes and feedback to all appropriate personnel and students (as applicable).

‐ Raise awareness of new changes and/or requirements to the appropriate personnel and students (as applicable).

‐ Provide information on new or amended policies, plans, programs, processes procedures and systems.

‐ Ensure feedback are provided to management and necessary or applicable personnel.

‐ Balancing between cost and effectiveness, identify/develop and utilize suitable and effective media for the necessary training and communications (online learning platforms, electronic mail, publications, newsletters, memos, notices, social media etc.).

‐ Assist, support, and cooperation with relevant team(s) and/or department(s) in developing and/or providing necessary training information as required.

‐ Provide training updates and feedbacks from personnel, students, public, and/or service providers to the management team, CEO as well as ISR (Internal Safety Review).

**3. Promotion**

‐ Plan and organize necessary training awareness programs (conferences, campaigns, road shows, briefings, etc.)

‐ Assist, support, and coordinate with relevant teams and/or departments to organize necessary training awareness programs

**4. Documentations and records**
- Ensure, assist, support and oversight on ALL training related policies, planning, processes, procedures, programs, and records are updated and documented in relevant manuals and the designated company system(s) as applicable, in accordance with organization documentation and records control requirements.

**Role Duties**
- Develop annual plan and budget developments for sub-department to align with department-wide’s strategy including ensue budget adherence to the approved budget
- Lead SOPs development and amendment to ensure all SOPs align with business objectives and regulatory requirement
- Track operating progress and result against annual plan and KPIs to ensure targets are met; develop action plans as needed
- Lead the identification of innovation and continuous improvement initiatives Additional or Other Duties - Assist Head of Training in any other training related matters as and when necessary.

**Traits**
- Sound knowledge of the organization’s operations, procedures, and activities.
- Broad aviation (unmanned and manned) technical knowledge.
- An extensive knowledge of training management and have completed appropriate TTT (Train the Trainer) training.
