**JOB OBJECTIVES**

Responsible for IT Server Administration, maintain and manage our installed system environment, server hardware, Hyperconverged infrastructure, Cloud infrastructure and backup operations.

**KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**

1. Assist AVP IT System Administration in managing Servers and IT infrastructure as follows:

- To install and administer virtual and physical servers. Able to troubleshoot and support VMware operational issues.
- To administer and troubleshoot backup issues on Veritas Netbackup.
- To maintain and update Windows Server and Linux Server kernel.
- To maintain and to perform backup and recovery of the systems in a timely manner.
- To perform hardening on new server deployment and ensure the system complies with yearly Vulnerability Assessment & Penetration Test report.
- To ensure preventive maintenance on systems is on schedule.
- To plan and participate in disaster recovery activities.
- Managing Server on Prem and Cloud

2. Provide User Support in the event EUC team not available.

3. Assist in IT infra team in administrative (i.e Purchasing, Documentation, Audit, Change Management)

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**

Education / Qualifications / Certifications
- Recognised Degree in Information Technology

Years of working experience needed
- Minimum 3 years of technical and administrative experience in Wintel, Linux, Virtualization
- (VMWare and Hyper-V) & Backup and Recovery including replication.
- Certification in VMware technologies, preferred.
- Experience in Veritas Netbackup.
- Experience with Active Directory, DNS and Group Policy.
- Certification in Linux Server such as Red Hat Enterprise Linux or Oracle Enterprise Linux, will be added advantage.
- Knowledge in HPE Simplivity an added advantage.
- Experience in Oracle VM and Oracle Maxrep, Weblogic Server, Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktop, Cyberark Privileged Access Management, and cloud platforms such as Office365 is also an added advantage.

- Technically inclined and with a keen interest in new technologies.
- Good attitude and a team player. Ability to communicate effectively both orally & in writing.
- Possess initiative, responsible, and able to work independently.
- Resourcefulness is a necessary skill in this role

**Job Type**: Contract

Pay: From RM5,000.00 per month
