**Job Purpose / Objectives**

**Job Accountabilities**

**Group Consolidation**
- Lead the consolidation process for the group, including subsidiaries and affiliates, ensuring alignment with relevant accounting standards (e.g., IFRS).
- Coordinate with finance teams across various countries to gather financial data and ensure its accuracy and completeness.
- Perform intercompany reconciliations and eliminations to consolidate financial statements accurately.
- Implement and maintain consolidation systems and processes to streamline the consolidation process and enhance efficiency.

**Financial Reporting**:

- Prepare and review consolidated financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, note to account in compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Analyze financial results and variances and prepare a management report to update the senior management and providing insights and recommendations to senior management for decision-making purposes.
- Develop and maintain financial reporting templates, ensuring consistency and accuracy in reporting across the organization.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate the audit process and address any audit-related inquiries or findings and draft the relevant reports (ACP, AFS).

**Budgeting and Forecasting**:

- Support the budgeting and forecasting processes by providing consolidated financial data and analysis to business units and senior management.
- Prepare annual budget and projections to support strategic planning and decision-making initiatives.

**Compliance and Governance**:

- Stay abreast of changes in accounting standards and regulations, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of consolidation and reporting processes.
- Manage to ensure all tax returns of the Group are adequate and submitted on time.
- Monitor compliance with the financial covenants.

**Undertake ad-hoc assignments when required by the management.**

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; ACCA or equivalent qualification preferred.
- Proven experience (5-6 years) in financial consolidation, reporting, and analysis, preferably in a multinational corporation or accounting firm.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate findings effectively.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting techniques
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and standards (e.g., IFRS) and experience with consolidation tools.
- Preferably in a multinational corporation or accounting firm.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and interact with stakeholders at all levels.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM8,500.00 per month
