Why does this job exist and why is it critical?
We are looking for a highly skilled and strategic professional to join our team as a Device and Supply Chain Management Specialist. This role involves overseeing all aspects of device and supply chain management, with a strong focus on business planning, budget management, and integrated demand forecasting. You will also be responsible for developing advanced analytics models and collaborating across all business segments and channels to ensure efficient operations, inventory availability, and maximizing the efficiency of the entire value chain.
Accountabilities- Device and Supply chain Planning and Budget Management: Develop, implement, and manage the overall device supply chain budget aligned to business ambitions and continuously monitor and identify areas for improvement- Integrated demand forecasting: analyse sales data and market trends to create accurate demand forecasts across all channels and business segments to maximise the opportunities whilst refining regularly to reflect changing market conditions.- Design and implement advanced analytics models to optimize inventory levels, supply chain efficiencies, and overall device performance. Present analytical findings and recommendations to stakeholders to drive strategic decision-making.- Performance Management: establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate supply chain performance and effectiveness and conduct regular performance reviews and audits to ensure compliance with best practices and company standards.- Cost Optimisation: identify and implement cost-optimisation strategies across the supply chain while maintaining quality and service levels, leading to effective negotiation of the contracts with suppliers/logistics providers for favorable terms, pricing, efficiency gains.
Requirements- Professional Certificate / Diploma / Degree or its equivalent- Relevant Work Experience : 4 to 6 years in Supply Chain Management / Distribution business- Experience with supply chain management software. Proficient in SAP or its equivalent.- Tech savvy and computer literate. Proficient in Microsoft, Word, Excel and PowerPoint- Have an acute sense of business savvy, ability to perform under pressure in a challenging environment, a team player, critical thinker & acute problem solving skills.- Personal traits : Positive, Passionate, Collaborative, Creative
