The Claim Estimator is responsible for assessing vehicle damages, preparing accurate repair cost estimates, and handling insurance and warranty claims. This role ensures smooth communication between customers, insurance providers, and internal departments while maintaining a high standard of documentation, customer service, and compliance with Proton guidelines.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Estimate Repair Costs:

- Inspect vehicle damage and assess parts and labor required.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for repairs (accident, warranty, insurance, etc.).
- Liaise with workshop foreman and technicians for accurate diagnostics.
- Insurance & Warranty Claim Handling:

- Submit claims to relevant insurance companies or Proton warranty departments.
- Follow up on claim approvals and ensure timely payment.
- Ensure all documentation is accurate and complete
- Customer Coordination:

- Explain estimation and claim process to customers.
- Advise customers on claim eligibility and repair timelines.
- Provide excellent customer service and updates throughout the claim process.
- Compliance & Reporting:

- Ensure claims adhere to Proton guidelines and industry standards.
- Prepare weekly/monthly reports on claims status.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing system.
- Support After-Sales Team:

- Work closely with Service Advisors and Parts Department for workflow coordination.
- Assist in improving claim turnaround time and customer satisfaction.

**Requirements**:

- Diploma or Degree in Automotive Engineering, Insurance, or related field
- At least 1-2 years of working experience in vehicle claims estimation or after-sales service (automotive industry preferred).
- Fresh graduates with internship experience in automotive claims are also encouraged to apply.

**Working Day**: Monday - Saturday (8.30am - 5.00pm)

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,200.00 per month
