**Job Overview**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Source and procure fresh produce** from farmers, wholesalers, and suppliers.
- **Negotiate prices** to secure the best quality at the most competitive rates.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure **consistent quality and supply**.
- Monitor market trends, seasonal availability, and price fluctuations to make informed purchasing decisions.
- Work closely with the **operations and logistics teams** to ensure timely deliveries.
- Maintain accurate **purchase records and supplier contracts**.
- Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, reliability, and pricing.
- Ensure that all products meet the required standards for freshness and quality.

**Requirements**:

- **Experience in procurement, sourcing, or fresh produce buying** is preferred.
- Strong **negotiation and relationship-building skills**.
- Knowledge of **fresh produce quality standards and market pricing**.
- Ability to analyze **market trends and supplier pricing**.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and ability to work with a **tech-driven system**.
- Excellent **organizational and communication skills**.
- Ability to work **independently and in a fast-paced environment**.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make quick purchasing decisions.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Prior experience working in the **agriculture, food supply, or wholesale industry**.
- Familiarity with **farmers, distributors, and supply chain logistics**.
- Ability to travel for supplier meetings and market sourcing.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Contract, Temporary
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: RM1,091.18 - RM5,653.26 per month
