**Job Overview**

The role of a Finance Accounts Assistant is to support the finance department with a variety of tasks

related to accounting, financial reporting, and administrative duties.

1. Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Process and record vendor invoices, ensuring that they are accurate and in compliance with company policies.
- Manage accounts receivable, ensuring timely invoicing and follow-up on overdue payments.
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable balances to the general ledger.

2. Bank Reconciliation
- Assist in reconciling bank accounts on a monthly basis to ensure accuracy in financial records.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in bank statements.

3. Data Entry & Record Keeping
- Input financial transactions into accounting software.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and files for auditing and reporting purposes.
- Ensure compliance with data protection and confidentiality standards.

4. Expense Management
- Review and process employee expense claims, ensuring they are in line with company policies.
- Track and manage company credit card expenditures.

5. Audit Assistance
- Assist with the internal and external audit process by providing necessary documentation and financial information.
- Respond to auditor queries and help resolve any discrepancies.

6. General Administrative Support
- Assist in maintaining accurate records of contracts, agreements, and other financial documentation.
- Provide administrative support to the finance team as needed.

7. Communication & Coordination
- Collaborate with other departments (such as procurement, admin, HR, Marketing and Operations) to resolve issues and ensure smooth financial processes.
- Communicate effectively with vendors & customers, internal teams, and management regarding payment issues or discrepancies.

Key Skills:

- Accounting Knowledge: A good understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to identify errors and discrepancies in financial records.
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to resolve issues, discrepancies, and disputes efficiently.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in accounting software and Excel for reporting and reconciliation tasks.
- Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload to meet deadlines.

Education & Experience:

- Education: A bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA, ACCA, or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Experience: At least 1 to 2 years experience in a similar role.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
