Click here to learn more about how **we can make an impact together** For a sneak peek into life at allnex, don’t miss our **Operator Movie** **Position overview**: allnex is looking for an experienced professional to join our team in Melaka as a Warehouse Operator In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring compliance with safety requirements, adherence to FIFO/FEFO principles, and optimal utilisation of warehouse space. Do you have a proactive attitude, strong customer service skills, and a strong sales ethic? If so, we’re counting on you to help us maintain safe and reliable operations **Responsibilities**: - Conduct warehouse activities, including receiving and storing all packed goods, data entry, picking and packing customer orders, and organising branch transfers, including handling dangerous goods. - Perform repackaging and transfer of materials into pail and drum SKUs as needed. - Load and unload trucks on a daily basis. - Maintain housekeeping standards, including adherence to 5S principles and all safety processes and procedures. - Handle customer inquiries, issues, and complaints, ensuring follow-up and resolution. - Fully comply with all allnex and industry Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) standards. - Take responsibility for the safe operation of the unit, ensuring compliance with health requirements, environmental protection measures, and energy conservation practices. **Required skills and experience**: - 3 years warehouse experience in a chemical company - Knowledge of chemical materials storage, handling and related regulations - Familiar with warehouse operation procedure - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal - Basic English language skills - Attention to details and decision making on competing priorities - Good Microsoft Office knowledge, experience using Microsoft Dynamics AX or SAP ERP would be advantages **Qualifications**: - High school or above - Certification or experience in complying with dangerous goods regulations and hazardous materials storage **We offer**: - We are proud to offer an international working experience with a tight-knit network of employees, making it easy to connect and learn from people all across our different functions.
