Assistant Shipping Manager

Job Responsibilities:
- 1.Providing routing information and issuing shipping instructions to ensure deliveries arrive on time.
2.Overseeing plan and manage all import & export shipments, tracking of incoming & out-going shipment.
3.Negotiate and comparison rate ocean freight/haulage service with forwarder/carrier.
4.Resolve all the custom issues that arise and ensure clearance procedure.
5.Responsible of Approval / renewal License / report for all the below
5.1 Exempted Duty Import on Yarn / Greige Fabric / Textile Foil from Malaysian Investment Development Authority
5.2 License SPM from Malaysia Investment Development Authority Exempted Sales & Service Tax of Parts for Machine / Equipment.
5.3 Custom Approval Letter for Out Sub-Contract Work farming out to others factory.
5.4 SST Approval from Custom for Goods Import.
5.6 Custom Approval letter for local e.g. Scrap Fabric / Scrap Yarn.
5.7 Miscellaneous custom approval e.g. Rejected Fabric Return from Buyer.
5.8 Monthly Finish good closing report.
Job Duties:
- 1.Overseeing booking all the export and import shipments.
2.Make sure transportation/haulage arrangement, monitor container in/out for import/export shipment.
3.Make sure loaded on to the shipment container and timely manner.
4.Ensure all the export document order e.g Standard Instruction, INV/PV VGM and permit before laden truck out.
5.Submit monthly and quarterly report to custom e.g Import Export report to Custom Industries Department.
6.Checking billing invoice from forwarder and logistic cost for every transaction.
7.Ensure all the document return in proper manner and in order e.g Custom K1, K2.
