**Responsibilities**:
Operational Excellence
- Daily oversight of cold forming, heading, and screw machining output.
- Address non-conformance within 24 hours.
- Enforce shop floor discipline (e.g., punctuality, mobile phone, smoking rules).

Lean Manufacturing & Continuous Improvement
- Lead lean projects to boost productivity and eliminate waste.
- Drive weekly CIP and SMED initiatives.
- Improve OEE and Man-to-Machine Ratio.
- Ensure monthly operational cost reductions.

Process & Project Management
- Lead process development to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Manage new product introductions and project transfers.

Team Leadership
- Oversee all operational activities and ensure alignment with quality systems.
- Mentor production and engineering staff.

Quality & Compliance
- Ensure full compliance with **IATF16949**, **ISO9001**, and **ISO14001**.
- Work with cross-functional teams to meet customer expectations.

Customer-Centric Metrics (4-Ones Initiative)
- 1-hour: Customer inquiry response
- 1-day: Quotation reply
- 1 week: Sample readiness
- 1-month: Volume order readiness
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering, or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the manufacturing industry, with a focus on fastener, machining, cold forging, metal stamping, or similar fields.
- System Knowledge: Strong knowledge of IATF16949 and ISO9001 requirements. Proficiency in MS Office and CAD tools is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proven expertise in mechanical and machining, or forging capabilities.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
- Language: Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia, English, and Mandarin (to liaise with the China plant).
