Fire Watcher

**Position Summary**:
The Fire Watcher is responsible for monitoring fire hazards and ensuring compliance with safety protocols on site. This role is critical in maintaining a safe working environment during operations that may pose fire risks.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct regular inspections of the work area to identify potential fire hazards.
- Monitor hot work activities (welding, cutting, etc.) and maintain a fire watch to prevent fires.
- Ensure the availability and proper functioning of fire extinguishing equipment.
- Keep accurate records of fire watch activities and report any incidents or hazards to the supervisor.
- Communicate effectively with team members to raise awareness about fire safety.
- Assist in emergency response situations and follow all safety protocols.
- Participate in safety drills and training sessions.

**Qualifications**:

- SPM, additional safety training or certifications (e.g., Fire Safety, Industrial Safety) preferred.
- Experience in a similar role, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
- Knowledge of fire safety regulations and emergency response procedures.
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent communication skills.

**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 2 months

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
