**Group General Manager**
**About Us**: We are a modern restaurant focusing on delivering the finest dining experience to our customer. Specialises in common but popular western and local dishes with a modern twist.
**Position Summary**:
**Responsibilities**:
- **Operational Management**:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of both restaurants, ensuring smooth and efficient running.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and profitability.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement.
- Manage staff schedules, training, and performance evaluations.
- Hygiene and Halal Compliance:
- Ensure strict adherence to hygiene and sanitation standards, including food safety regulations.
- Maintain Halal certification and implement necessary procedures to comply with Islamic dietary laws.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address any non-compliance issues.
- **Food Consistency**:
- Maintain a high standard of food quality and consistency across all menu items.
- Work closely with the kitchen team to develop and implement new menu items.
- Monitor food costs and explore opportunities for cost optimization without compromising quality.
- **Cost Optimization**:
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize operational costs, including labor, food, and overhead expenses.
- Negotiate with suppliers to obtain favorable pricing and terms.
- Identify and implement cost-saving measures without affecting the overall customer experience.
- **Customer Service**:
- Foster a positive and welcoming atmosphere for customers.
- Ensure prompt and efficient service delivery.
- Address customer complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in restaurant management, preferably in a multi-unit environment.
- Proven track record in managing restaurant operations, including staff management, financial control, and customer service.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of hygiene and Halal standards.
- Proficiency in using restaurant management software and systems.
