As a Technical Executive at Mara Liner Sdn Bhd, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of the company's fleet of buses. You will be responsible for overseeing various technical aspects of the buses, implementing preventive maintenance schedules, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and strong organizational abilities.

**Key Responsibilities**:
1. Fleet Maintenance:

- Develop and implement maintenance schedules for all buses to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Coordinate with the maintenance team to conduct routine inspections, repairs, and servicing of buses.
- Monitor the condition of buses and address any issues or defects promptly to minimize downtime.

2. Technical Support:

- Provide technical support and guidance to the maintenance team on troubleshooting and resolving complex technical problems.
- Collaborate with external vendors and suppliers to source spare parts and equipment required for repairs and maintenance.

3. Safety and Compliance:

- Ensure that all buses comply with safety regulations and standards set by relevant authorities.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective measures.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and developments in bus technology and safety standards.

4. Documentation and Reporting:

- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and expenditures.
- Prepare reports on fleet performance, maintenance costs, and other relevant metrics for management review.
- Analyze data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement in the maintenance process.

5. Training and Development:

- Conduct training sessions for maintenance staff to enhance their technical skills and knowledge.
- Keep the team updated on new technologies, tools, and best practices in bus maintenance and repair.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in fleet maintenance and management, preferably in the transportation industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of diesel engines, electrical systems, and other mechanical components of buses.
- Familiarity with maintenance software and tools for tracking and managing fleet operations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety standards.
