**Job Title**: Junior Parts Counterhand (Automotive)
**Department**: Aftersales / Parts
**Reports to**: Parts Supervisor / Aftersales Manager
**Job Summary**:
To assist in handling the day-to-day operations of the parts counter, including issuing, receiving, storing, and tracking automotive parts to support the workshop and customers efficiently.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Parts Issuance & Receiving**:
- Assist in issuing parts to workshop technicians based on job orders.
- Receive incoming parts and verify quantities and condition against delivery orders.
- **Stock Management**:
- Organize and store parts systematically in designated locations.
- Assist in conducting regular stock counts and reporting discrepancies.
- **Customer Service**:
- Attend to counter inquiries from internal (technicians) and external (retail) customers.
- Provide accurate parts information and availability status.
- **Documentation & System Updates**:
- Update inventory systems with parts issued/received.
- Ensure all records and documents are filed accurately and timely.
- **Housekeeping & Safety**:
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the parts store and counter area.
- Follow safety procedures in handling automotive parts, especially hazardous items.
- **Support & Learning**:
- Assist senior parts counterhands and supervisors as needed.
- Attend training sessions to develop product knowledge and system usage skills.
**Requirements**:
- Minimum SPM or equivalent qualification.
- Basic knowledge of automotive parts is an advantage.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Computer literacy is an added advantage.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM1,741.75 - RM3,500.89 per month
