**Job description**

**Responsibilities**
- To ensure effective implementation of the project’s activities and task assigned to attain goals and objectives of the project
- To oversee project work-plan performance, participating in project planning, budgeting, implementation, monitoring, reporting and programme development in project site
- To undertake research on prospective corporate, major, trust and public donors
- To organise and take part in strategy and of fundraising events
- To handle programmes and raise funds effectively
- To respond to inquiries from foundations and corporates
- To maintain and update donors’ records on a fundraising database
- To manage the monthly newsletter and social media content

**Requirements and skills**
- At least 1 year experience in NGO project planning and development
- Preferably able to speak in Chinese dialects
- Excellent communication skills: Written and verbal communication skills are a necessity (English, Bahasa Malaysia)
- Good numerical skills: To work to a budget and reach financial targets, regularly reporting on both
- Sound organisational abilities: To work to deadlines, handle multiple donor accounts simultaneously and keep a record of donations
- IT skills: Sound knowledge of database management and Microsoft Office
- Teamwork skills: To be an effective part of a team with the overriding aim of maximising donations
- Demonstration of honesty, transparency, accountability, ethical and critical way of thinking

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: RM2,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
