Responsibility & Requirements
- Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle database systems
- To be able to monitor and maintain the performance, availability, and security of Oracle databases
- Should have good Knowledge on RMAN backup and recovery procedures
- Implement and maintain database security measures, including user access controls and encryption
- Identify and resolve database performance issues by analyzing system performance, fine-tuning queries, and optimizing database configurations
- Strong knowledge of Oracle database architecture and administration
- Install, configure and troubleshoot Oracle RAC clusters
- Configure, administer and troubleshoot Oracle Data guard
- Provide 24x7 on-call rotation support of production databases

Key Qualifications
- 4-5 years of working experiences as DBA
- Degree or master holder in Information Technology, Computer Science or relevant field
- Experience should include DB design (modelling and normalisation), capacity planning, performance tuning, storage management, back-up and recovery, managing schemas, report generation and DB clustering technologies.
- Able to operate Oracle, MS Sql Server, IBM DB2 and Mysql management tools (Data Guard, RMAN, Data pump, SSMS, IBM DSC, etc ).

**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 24 months

**Salary**: RM5,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
