As a Manager - Revenue, you will be responsible for managing the Distribution Revenue team, providing guidance on processes and procedures, solving problems, ensuring a positive working relationship within the team, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. You will be a key contributor in the accounting leadership team and dedicated to the Micron Values of collaboration, customer focus, tenacity, innovation, and people.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Oversee distribution revenue accounting process, including reconciling inventory activity and balances with our distributors, point-of-sales activity, and validating claims for credit submitted from our customers
- Review and approve journal entries and account reconciliations during month-end close
- Provide adequate supervision of the distribution revenue accounting team to ensure that all team members are providing quality customer service
- Ensure compliance with Company policies and SOX controls by adhering to internal control requirements, maintaining updated documentation, and providing recommendations for improvement and changes
- Drive process improvement, automation, and standardization
- Establish and maintain cooperative and productive work relationships
- Proactively engage with stakeholders to resolve challenges and recommend solutions to improve where necessary
- Develop goals for direct reports and distribution revenue accounting team to align with department and company objectives
- Actively train direct reports to ensure each report’s job performance is at least proficient
- Monitor individual team member performance relative to their team and individual goals and provide direction through periodic performance evaluations to ensure performance expectations are met or exceeded
- Conduct performance management activities consisting of performance ratings for direct reports and recommend compensation in compliance with Company policies and procedures
- Establish plans and objectives for the functional group and at organization level for Global Finance Center of Excellence

Education & Experience Required:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting, or Qualified accountant (CA, ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
- 10+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or Reporting, with preference in the distribution business
- 5+ years in leadership role
- Process automation, with experience in in LEAN, 6-Sigma, or RPA a preference
