Job Summary : To assist Store Supervisor, maintain correct stock balance, proper documentation, arrangement and proper housekeeping.
- Ensure stock items are stored and maintained in good condition.
- Assist in receiving, recording, and storing engineering spares, equipment, tools, lubricants, chemicals, packaging materials, and pallets.
- Place received items in the correct locations as per the documented work instructions.
- Update stock cards for all receipts and issues accurately.
- Prepare precise stock reports and conduct regular physical stock counts.
- Conduct regular stock checks and assist in inventory audits.
- Initiate purchase requisitions for spare parts and consumables when stock levels reach minimum or reorder points.
- Ensure compliance with FIFO (First In, First Out) or FEFO (First Expired, First Out) principles.
- Participate in yearly stock-taking activities as instructed by management.
- Assist in unloading and verifying incoming materials against delivery notes or packing lists.
- Report damaged or missing items to the Store Supervisor.
- Issue materials to authorized personnel and maintain accurate records of issued items.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the engineering, packaging, ingredient, and chemical stores.
- Follow safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE during cleaning tasks.
- Arrange for repairs or maintenance work when necessary.
- Accurately record store activities, including receiving, issuing, and inventory transactions.
- Submit completed documentation for supervisor review and verification.
- Comply with company guidelines on record retention and disposal.
- Ensure adherence to ISO 9001 standards, company policies, and relevant quality requirements.
- Familiarize with and comply with relevant laws, including the Occupational Safety & Health Act 1994, Environmental Quality Act 1974, Factory & Machinery Act 1967, and Poison Act 1952.

Job Success Requirements:

- Minimum SPM.
- At least 1-2 years as a Storekeeper or in a similar role.
- Working knowledge of warehouse and storekeeping practices.
- Familiarity with hardware goods and engineering spare parts.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From RM1,700.00 per month
