Job Summary: An ICT (Information and Communication Technology) Teacher is responsible for educating students on various aspects of information technology and computer science. This role involves designing and delivering engaging and effective lessons, assessing student performance, and fostering a positive learning environment. The ICT Teacher should stay updated on technological advancements and educational trends to provide students with a relevant and comprehensive education in the field of ICT.

Key Responsibilities:
**Curriculum Development**: Develop and update curriculum materials, lesson plans, and instructional resources that align with the school's ICT program goals and educational standards.

**Teaching**: Deliver effective and engaging ICT lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels. Foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity in students' approach to technology.

**Classroom Management**: Create a well-organized and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning, where students feel safe and motivated to participate actively.

**Assessment**: Regularly assess and evaluate students' progress through quizzes, exams, projects, and assignments. Provide constructive feedback and support to help students improve their ICT skills.

**Technology Integration**: Integrate the use of technology into teaching, incorporating modern software and hardware to enhance the learning experience.

**Parent Communication**: Maintain open and proactive communication with parents and guardians to update them on student progress and address any concerns or questions.

**Collaboration**: Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices, resources, and innovative teaching methods to enhance the overall educational experience.

**Safety and Security**: Ensure the safe and responsible use of technology in the classroom, emphasizing digital citizenship and online safety.

**Extracurricular Activities**: Encourage and participate in extracurricular activities related to ICT, such as coding clubs, robotics teams, or technology-related competitions.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Teaching certification or relevant teaching experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in educational technology tools and software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Organizational and time management skills.
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Ability to stay current with technological advancements and educational trends in ICT.

**Salary**: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
