Assist Head Chemist in planning and executing laboratory tests according to test procedures.
- Conduct chemical experiments under the guidance of Head Chemist.
- Document test procedures and results and report the same to Head Chemist for analysis.
- Assist in developing standard operating procedures for chemical tests.
- Supervise co-workers in their job duties when needed.
- Maintain the laboratory clean, safe and organized.
- Support in developing project plan, scope, schedule, and budget for chemical projects.
- Communicate project status to Supervisor on regular basis.
- Setup laboratory equipment, materials and supplies ready before conducting chemical experiments.
- Coordinate, plan, and perform daily laboratory functions.
- Analyze root causes for problems and suggest corrective actions.
- Assist Quality Manager establishing ISO procedures and good lab practices.
- Develop or revise the test analytical methods to ensure quality, productivity and consistency.
- Identify and report new equipment needs to Supervisor.
- Report equipment repair and maintenance requests in timely manner.
- Recording and interpreting data accurately and accurately.
- Communicating effectively with colleagues and other stakeholders.

Pay: RM1,600.62 - RM3,000.00 per month
