As a Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for sales of Drive/ Inverters’ products, systems and/or services within a designated market in accordance with strategy.

Reporting to Sales and Marketing Lead, you will be building long term customer relationships and manage resolution to specific customer need and issues. Identify and develop sales opportunities. This position is based on Subang Jaya, Malaysia. Your responsibilities

Selling products/systems/services to customers, focusing on volume, mix and profitability targets for assigned Business Units/Product Groups.
Establishing and maintaining effective customer relationships to understand customer needs, promote customer understanding of full product/systems/ services offering and align to provide a solution. Ensure a positive customer experience throughout the sales process.
Preparing sales plans using company tools and performing regular status reviews and proposes recovery plan(s) in cases of potential order shortfalls.
Creating added value for customer and ABB ensures the successful outcome of transactions, contracts and proposals by using effective sales techniques.
Ensuring efficient marketing activities and value proposition to customers.
Identifying and driving the development of new market opportunities in the designated market and ensures know-how sharing and cross-collaboration.
Managing administrative procedures in sales processes, and support collection and project management activities when needed.
Preparing offers in coordination with the bid and proposal department and/or the marketing manager and ensuring appropriate technical and financial aspects of offers, including prices and trading conditions. Your background

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical & Electronic or equivalent). Preferably 5 years and above working experiences in similar Businesses.
Must be self-starter and pro-active. Be able to work independently as well as in team.
A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia (additional languages will be a plus).
Prosses own transport and willing to travel.
Team player but able to carry out tasks with minimum supervision.
Result oriented, ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. More about us
