Analyst, Accounting Operations **Company**: MMC Corporate **Description**: **Analyst, Accounting Operations (Payables/Receivable)** **What can you expect?** - Be a part of a regional accounting operation team - Elevate your accounting processing knowledge - Interact diverse colleagues and stakeholders from various line of business within MMC **What is in it for you?** - Career Development and Training Opportunities - Participate in regional projects - Career Development and Training Opportunities **We will count on you to**: - Assist in day to day payment authorization functions and processes for ASEAN and Hong Kong region. - Prepares journal and approves offshore journal entries and client carrier reconciliations - Investigate and resolve payment accounts/Insurers/Reinsurers issues and attend to queries raised by Auditors, Country Finance, Broker or Underwriters - Perform insurer /customer statement reconciliation and follow-up to clear un-identified/un-reconciled items - Analyzes, maintains and reconciles the payment accounts, cash reports and administrative systems. - Ensure timely and accurate month end close. - Adheres to the accounting principles and practices and regulatory environment and ensures these principles and practices are applied in the daily work. - Responds to ad hoc requests for financial information as well as operational analysis using various reporting tools as consistent with a global business leader **What you need to have**: - Degree in Accountancy or equivalent - Minimum 1 years of experience in **Accounts Payable / Payment Authorization transactions **in a** Shared Service or Insurance environment**: - Strong Microsoft Excel Proficiency - Good command of English in both spoken and written **What makes you stand out**: - Good communication and interpersonal skills - Willing to learn and take on new challenges - Being team oriented Marsh McLennan is committed to hybrid work, which includes the flexibility of working remotely and the collaboration, connections and professional development benefits of working together in the office.
