**About MARKETING in UI**

We build categories and brands like St Ives, Fluocaril, Horlicks, Hellmann’s, and Cif globally across markets, media and channels, by enhancing brand awareness and brand through creative and effective digital mediums. We launch Unilever brands in new markets and bring them to life.

**This role is important because **
- You’ll play a strategic role in unlocking growth opportunity in white space markets in Southeast Asia and North Asia (SEANA) via seeding and scale-up plans for Unilever brands.
- You’ll lead holistic digital marketing, in-store execution excellence, big & popular brand activation in assigned markets to grow penetration and market share
- You’ll partner UI Business Groups (BG) to analyse market whitespace opportunities and lead regional BU cross-functional teams to land innovations OTIF (on-time and in-full).

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**Marketing & NPD**
- Lead best in class holistic marketing plans for key brand launch and expansion in important markets in SEANA hit incremental revenue, profit growth, and market share targets
- Lead creative development and media plan with agencies; POSM development and execution; big & popular activation; with diligent performance tracking and evolution of subsequent plans
- Collaborate with UI global BG team and regional cross functional team to land NPDs for assigned BG (e.g., Personal Care, Beauty & Wellbeing etc.) in SEANA

**Business Performance Analysis & Actions**
- Prepare for and lead key business reviews/ presentations
- Qualify brand seeding opportunities via consumer insights, market analysis, financial feasibility
- Play a crucial role in the Annual Joint Business Planning exercise with Distributors/ Retailers
- Own and track Brand Marketing Investment (BMI) budgets for assigned markets in SEANA

**Stakeholder Management**
- Develop strong working relationships with UI global BG teams, regional/ local BDMs, distributor marketing teams, and creative/ media/ activation agencies

**YOU’LL WORK CLOSELY WITH**:

- UI Marketing, Business Development, Supply Chain and Finance
- Unilever “mothership” teams for assigned BG/ category
- Creative and media agencies, brand activation agencies
- Distributors and retailers (drug-pharma, beauty, grocery retail, club)

**KEY REQUIREMENTS**:

- 8-9 years of marketing experience in top-tier FMCG companies in key markets in SEANA
- Could speak in Mandarin.
- Demonstrate strategic mindset, entrepreneurial drive, and adaptability
- Have effective communication, negotiation, and influencing skills
- Solid project management skills to independently lead and deliver key initiatives
- Track record of delivering revenue, profit, market share, and penetration growth
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
