**Position**: Kitchen Assistant

**Location**: Oriental Kopi Senai Airport

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Kitchen Assistant to join our culinary team. In this role, you will support kitchen operations by assisting with food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring that all kitchen tasks are completed efficiently to maintain a smooth workflow in the kitchen.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Food Preparation**: Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, peeling, and washing vegetables, meats, and other items as required.
- **Cleaning**: Ensure kitchen areas, utensils, and equipment are cleaned and sanitized according to health and safety standards.
- **Dishwashing**: Operate dishwashing equipment, wash dishes, and keep kitchen tools and utensils clean and organized.
- **Storage and Stocking**: Assist in storing and organizing food items, ensuring proper labeling, and monitoring stock levels to prevent waste.
- **Support Kitchen Staff**: Assist chefs and other kitchen staff in preparing meals and ensuring timely service.
- **Waste Management**: Assist in managing waste and maintaining proper disposal practices.
- **Health & Safety**: Ensure all kitchen safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures are followed in accordance with regulations.

**Qualifications**:

- **Experience**: Prior experience in a kitchen or food service environment is a plus but not required.
- **Skills**:

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
- Strong attention to cleanliness and detail
- Team player with good communication skills
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
- **Physical Demands**: Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and work in a hot, fast-paced environment.
- **Availability**: Flexible working hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.
