Facility Associate

The Facilities Associate will monitor the operations and maintenance of Railway Assets Corporation (RAC) assets. This role requires a detail-oriented and resourceful individual with excellent leadership and communication skills to ensure RAC assets is managed efficiently and effectively.

**Key Responsibilities**:
1) Assist officers in coordinating all operational activities and asset maintenance in the southern region:

- Monitoring the implementation and compliance of work by contractors; and
- Preparation of asset expense maintenance report.

2) Assist officers in coordinating and evaluating the condition and performance of on-site assets on a regular basis in the southern region:

- Asset condition and performance assessment activities; and
- Preparation of asset inspection reports.

3) Assist officers in managing the disposal of obsolete and abandoned railway assets:

- Asset disposal activities and on-site monitoring; and
- Preparation of asset disposal report.

4) Assist officers in managing complaints received from the public in the southern region:

- Inspection and evaluation of every complaint received;
- Preparation of complaint investigation reports; and
- Monitoring the implementation and compliance of the work by the appointed contractor.

5) RAC representatives in any meetings and site visits with local leaders/ communities or Local Authorities.

**Qualification**:

- Possess Certificate/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Civil field or any equivalent vocational or technical institutions.
- 1-3 years of job related experience in facilities management.
- Competent in writing and communicating in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Willing to travel.
- Strong responsibility and time management skills.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
