**Position**

**Position Title**: Secondary IGCSE Additional Mathematics & Physics Teacher
**Department**: Secondary School
**Reports To**: Head of Department (Mathematics / Science) and Head of Secondary

**Key Responsibilities**Teaching & Learning
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in **Additional Mathematics** and **Physics** in line with the Cambridge IGCSE curriculum.
- Differentiate teaching methods and resources to cater to diverse student needs and learning styles.
- Use effective classroom management strategies to ensure a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
- Set, mark, and assess student work, providing constructive feedback to promote academic growth.
- Prepare students effectively for internal assessments, external examinations, and competitions.

Curriculum & Assessment
- Contribute to the development and review of departmental schemes of work, assessments, and teaching materials.
- Monitor and record student progress using the school’s assessment framework.
- Identify and support students who require additional guidance, extension, or intervention.

Professional & Community Engagement
- Work collaboratively with colleagues within the Mathematics and Science departments to share best practices and improve student outcomes.
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians on student progress and wellbeing.
- Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and enrichment programs (e.g., STEM clubs, math/physics competitions).
- Uphold the school’s values, policies, and safeguarding practices.

**Qualifications & Requirements**
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Physics, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree advantageous).
- Recognized teaching qualification (PGCE, B.Ed, or equivalent).
- Minimum **2-3 years of teaching experience**, preferably in an international or Cambridge curriculum school.
- Proven ability to prepare students for Cambridge IGCSE exams with successful outcomes.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and reflective teaching practice.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM5,050.69 per month
