**About the role**

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Environmental Officer to join our team on a contract basis in Subang Selangor. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring the Company's operations adhere to all relevant environmental regulations and best practices, playing a crucial part in maintaining our commitment to sustainability and environmental protection.

**What you'll be doing**
- Monitoring and reporting on the Company's environmental performance, including emissions, resource consumption, waste management and pollution control
- Conducting environmental audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement
- Developing and implementing environmental management plans and procedures
- Liaising with regulatory authorities and external stakeholders on environmental compliance matters
- Providing training and guidance to employees on environmental policies and regulations
- Researching and recommending new technologies, processes, and initiatives to enhance the Company's environmental sustainability
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate environmental considerations into business decisions

**What we're looking for**
- Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an environmental officer or similar role, preferably in the construction sector
- Must possessed CEPSWaM, CISWI/CESSWI/CISEC, CIDB Green Card
- Thorough understanding of environmental regulations, policies, and best practices
- Proficiency in conducting environmental assessments, audits, and data analysis
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to effectively liaise with stakeholders at all levels
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to continuous improvement
