**Job description**

Roots by Kebun Kota is a café-restaurant in Kuantan, Pahang, Malaysia. The café operates on the principle that sustainability is an attitude. Besides that, we also help local entrepreneurs sell their handmade products as part of our vendor scheme. Full-time barista needed at Roots by Kebun Kota cafe.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Prepare a variety of coffee drinks and other beverages according to recipes, SOP's, quality standards, presentation standards and preparation checklists.
- Monitor food safety and quality while preparing food.
- Operate and maintain coffee machines, grinders, juicers and other kitchen equipment.
- Assist in the general cleaning of the kitchen.
**REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS**:

- 1-2 years work experience as a barista preferred
- Individuals with no experience but are willing to learn are also welcome
- Knowledgeable and highly interested in coffee making
- Self driven, motivated, team player
- Able to work under mínimal supervision

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: RM1,300.00 - RM1,500.00 per month
