Responsible for setting up HALAL SOP and periodically keeping the HALAL manual updated, including SOP, HALAL documents and HALAL filing System. - To plan and execute QA & HALAL preparation in order to be officially HALAL certified + annual HALAL re-certification (will be assisted by the Management). To keep the management updated on any changes related to HALAL certification. - To reply to the non-conformance (corrective actions) related to HALAL matters and ensure the HALAL re-certification has been done in a timely manner. - To ensure and monitor the HALAL implementation, including the validity of the HALAL status for food and beverage produced within the hotel, the raw material from suppliers and the cleaning chemicals and maintenance devices that may come in contact with food. - Responsible to lead and conduct regular audits/ inspections (internal and external audits) to ensure high hygiene and food safety standards are in place and aligned with the HALAL Shariah requirement, Food Safety standards and other relevant laws/regulations.
