We're now looking for a driven Business Development Executive to join us expanding our flagship AI Enterprise Platform, Glem.ai, across Malaysia and international markets.
**About Glem.ai**
- Glem.ai (short for Generative Logic & Execution Machine) is an enterprise AI platform, designed to revolutionise business operations and strategic decision-making.
- It offers AI-agnostic capabilities, allowing seamless switching between different Large Language Models (LLMs).
- The platform provides end-to-end solutions for data ingestion, consolidation, governance, and visualisation — along with intelligent AI agents that automate decision-making and execute tasks based on data insights.
- Proven business impact: One of our happy clients achieved a 97% reduction in claims processing time and achieved significant cost savings within a few months.
**Your Role & Responsibilities**
You are a highly energetic, tech-savvy business development professional ready to grow with us and drive Glem.ai’s market expansion. You will:
- Hunt & Close Deals - Prospect, pitch, and secure high-value enterprise clients across Malaysia, Oman, Brazil, and the Philippines.
- Drive outbound sales efforts - Actively cold call, conduct proactive outreach, follow up consistently, network strategically, and leverage referrals to build and convert a high-quality sales pipeline.
- Advise on AI Adoption - Understand client challenges, lead tailored demos/PoCs, and consult decision making stakeholders.
- Build Strategic Partnerships - Identify and onboard resellers, tech alliances, and channel partners.
- Shape Market Strategy - Analyse trends, competitors, and influence go-to-market approaches in diverse markets.
- Collaborate Across Teams - Collaborate with product, engineering and revenue teams to align sales, branding, marketing and product solutions with market needs.
- Grow With Us - Help refine business development strategies and contribute meaningfully to our growth journey.
- Perform any other reasonable duties to support overall business objectives.
**Requirements (You'll be a good fit if you have)**:
- 3-5 years in B2B sales or business development.
- Diploma or degree in any discipline.
- Hunter mentality - Thrive on finding leads, closing deals, and exceeding targets.
- A proven track record of delivering sales pipeline at a fast-growing company with multiple sales segments with an inbound and outbound model.
- Tech fluency - Understand and confidently discuss AI, automation, and data infrastructure with stakeholders.
- Strong communicator - Fluent in English.
- Connector personality - Strong presence and relationship-builder with enterprise stakeholders.
- Adaptability, coachablity, growth-driven, self-starter and team player with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Based in Klang Valley with own transport.
**Bonus Points**:
- Proven success selling SaaS, enterprise software, or AI/ML platforms.
- Experience in startup or scale-up environments.
- Knowledge of cloud/AI certifications.
- Familiarity with Responsible AI or governance frameworks.

**Compensation**
The expected basic salary range for this role is **RM5,000 to RM7,000 per month**, excluding commissions. Actual compensation will be based on factors such as experience, skill set, market demand, and internal equity.
This role includes **performance-based commissions with uncapped earning potential**.
