**Position summary**

As a **Global Category Lead for Facilities Management**, you will play a central role in shaping and executing the strategic vision of this critical category worldwide. In this high-impact leadership role, you’ll define the direction, objectives, and relevant success metrics, ensuring a seamless roadmap from strategy to implementation. With your expertise and influence, you will unlock business value, create competitive advantage, and lead transformation on a global scale.

**A day in a life of a Global Category Lead for Facilities Management**
- Establishing, defining, and driving a comprehensive category strategy.
- Maintaining ongoing communication with senior business partners and stakeholders.
- Enhancing advanced category expertise by developing people's capabilities and skills.
- Upholding compliance with Nestlé's corporate business principles and procurement policies.
- Cultivating relationships with suppliers to ensure effective development and management practices.
- Working closely with SRM experts to improve supplier relationship management initiatives.
- Formulating and updating contract management policies, ensuring adherence across all activities.

**What makes you successful**:

- Significant expertise in operations and facility management, including factories, distribution centers, and 3PL.
- Demonstrated success in leading regional and global procurement projects.
- Strong supplier relationship management skills including negotiation and influencing
- The ability to define direction, ambition, and best practices in a global category leadership role.
- Prior experience driving successful change management within complex organizations.
- The ability to influence through collaboration whilst leading initiatives and driving results.
- Experience in multinational environments with large-scale spend and operational complexities.
- Proficient in English; other local languages considered beneficial.
