**POSITION OVERVIEW**

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Bakery Machine Mechanic to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of a variety of bakery equipment. You will play a key role in ensuring our production runs smoothly and efficiently.

**KEY RESPONSIBITIES**

To perform routine preventative maintenance on bakery equipment according to established procedures.

To diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems in bakery machinery.

To repair and rebuild faulty equipment components using hand and power tools.

To perform emergency repairs to minimize downtime in production.

To install new bakery equipment and ensure proper functionality.

To maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities.

To identify and implement improvements to enhance equipment performance and reliability.

To assist in the training of new bakery staff on proper equipment operation and cleaning procedures.

To ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures.

**REQUIREMENTS**

A Technical diploma or certificate in Mechanical Engineering Technology or a related field (preferred).

Minimum 2 years of experience in repairing and maintaining industrial machinery, preferably in a food production environment.

Required language(s): Mandarin, English & Bahasa Melayu

Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Excellent manual dexterity and ability to work with hand and power tools.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong work ethic and a commitment to safety.

A valid driver's license may be required.
