Technical Services and Laboratory Support

(a) Carry out various laboratory tests as required by the Technical Manager

(b) Demonstrated ability to produce careful, documented work in the laboratory

(c) To ensure all testing are being conducted in full compliance to the SOP

(d) To liaise with consultants or internal site supervisor during the testing process.

(e) To check/ test the equipment quality bases on relevant specification and customer requirements or special design mixes that requested from the customers.

(f) To carry out the tests as per documented procedure and relevant standards (IEC, ASTM, etc) and update the test results in designated test report.

(g) To assist Lab Engineer/ Manager to compile test data/ reports and issue certificates to present to the customers.

**Personnel that had passes the stage I ~ stage III shall prepare the certificates of calibration and get the relevant authorized signatory approval accordingly.

**By referring to the clause 5.2.5 of MS ISO/IEC 17025, test report or calibration certificate issued by VITAR shall be signed by the personnel authorized by the management, to whom signatory approval has been granted by STANDARDS MALAYSIA.

(h) To provide technical service when and as assigned by the Lab Engineer/ Manager
- To maintain the machineries and equipment in the lab ensuring that they are within the calibration period and in good condition.

(a) Operate the laboratory machinery/ equipment as per the given operating instructions

(b) Safe handling of tools and equipment used in lab

(c) Responsible to perform daily calibration and verification on all equipment or instrument

(d) To ensure and carry out the maintenance of all equipment or instrument

(e) To participate in Gauge R&R

(f) Report immediately to Lab Engineer/ Manager if there is any deviation
- Administration and Recordkeeping

(a) To assist Lab Engineer/ Manager to compile all the evaluation data for review/information as a lab record and to ensure proper storage and confidentiality of calibration results and reports.

(b) To assist Lab Engineer/ Manager to compile all the equipment / instrument safety requirement.

(c) To keep up to date of equipment/ instrument sample with standard reference list.

(d) To keep up to date records of lab inventory
- Essential Function 4: Coordination Process in Lab

(a) To train new technician

(b) To maintain the housekeeping of the laboratory. To keep the laboratory tidy and clean at all time.

(c) To comply with safety and health requirements and lab rules at all time.

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,200.00 per month
