**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic **Contract Manager** to lead the Contract Management Unit for **Marine Operations**. This position oversees the full lifecycle of contracts, from pre-award to post-award, with a focus on compliance, risk mitigation, dispute resolution, and legal safeguarding.

You’ll play a key role in ensuring project delivery aligns with internal standards and international marine regulations while protecting the company's commercial interests.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead contract strategy, planning, negotiation, and administration for marine repair operations.
- Ensure compliance with **maritime regulations**, BIMCO Repaircon, and internal terms & conditions.
- Support **contract pre-award** processes and reviews to ensure favorable terms for the company.
- Manage post-award obligations, including document control, contract renewals, and reporting.
- Identify and mitigate contractual and legal risks (PCRRS, compliance, liabilities).
- Support internal/external **legal teams** during dispute resolution and litigation.
- Coordinate with operations, finance, and project teams to ensure alignment.
- Handle **project warranty management** and support project closure documentation.
- Advise on dispute resolution strategies while maintaining client relationships.
- Lead manpower capability building within the contract management function.
- Promote and implement continuous improvement and contract governance best practices.
- Ensure full compliance with **HSE (Health, Safety & Environment)** policies.

**Requirements**:

- Malaysian citizenship is **mandatory**.
- Degree in **Law**, **Engineering**, or a related discipline.
- Minimum **10 years' experience** in marine repair contract management or marine operations.
- Strong knowledge of international marine contract frameworks and legal exposure.
- Proven leadership in managing diversified, high-value project contracts.
- Excellent stakeholder communication, negotiation, and risk management skills.
- Familiarity with dispute handling and resolution across clients and subcontractors.
- Ability to manage a multi-cultural and high-pressure environment.
- Experience with documentation systems and compliance protocols.
