Procurement Manager

**PURPOSE OF POSITION**
- As the Gloves Procurement Team, we demonstrate accountability for executing the strategic direction and priorities for the Gloves Global Procurement Ensuring of delivering sustainable value through secure of supply and developing supplier relationships._
- Taking full ownership of supplier relationships and manage these professionally to ensure supply and maximizing value creation.
- Manage and develop supply from best in class suppliers
- Responsible for strategic direct spend categories
- Responsible to gather, analyze and report spend and cost saving data within the areas of direct spend
- Lead and facilitate procurement activities in co-operation with other functions to support the business targets and needs.
- Supporting the strategic direction of the Procurement and Sourcing function in line with the Gloves Global Operations and Sourcing strategy to ensure sustainable and profitable growth.
- Ensure that the Supplier base is complaint to ethical values and code of conduct and guarantee that Biogel high Quality is maintained, Costs are optimised, and Process are improved in order to give the Gloves Business Area a competitive advantage
- Identify and implement mitigation plans for supply risks and establish a qualitative and value-driven supplier base
- End to End responsibility for the Direct Procurement Activities

**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Manage and develop supplier relationships to secure supply and maximize value creation for the business.
- Secure the supply of raw materials from key suppliers through partnership relations and high quality contractual agreements.
- Plan and direct purchasing activities to ensure optimal pricing ,quality, delivery and service in order to maximize the purchasing power.
- Develop sourcing and category strategies for raw material streams in order to support the overall business area strategic objectives.
- Gather, analyse and report spend and pricing data.
- Co-operate with key functions and department and give professional support and advice in sourcing and supplier related matters
- Initiate, negotiate and maintain contractual documents with high complexity and value. Manage global tenders through RFI, RFQ, and other state of the art procurement methodologies.
- Lead cross-functional teams for actives supporting the business to achieve its strategic goals, e.g., cost reductions, risk mitigations ,quality, secure of supply, supplier communication
- Ensure adherence to the company policy’s and guidelines for compliance, ethical, Corporate Code of Conduct, quality standards throughout the sourcing and supply processes and relevant local laws and regulations
- Co-operate and take part of common activities with other BA´s and corp. functions.
- Monitor market and industry trends in order to develop effective sourcing strategies and decision making
- Facilitate and co-operate with R&D for new products and innovations.
- Perform supplier evaluations and qualifications to ensure compliance and sustainability.
- Support all environmental, safety and sustainability (incl. CSR) programs, policies and procedures
- To ensure that suppliers are in accordance or equivalent to the Medical Devices - Quality Management System (ISO 13485), FDA Quality System Regulation (21 CFR Part 820), MHLW Ministerial Ordinance No. 169, Environmental Management System (ISO 14001) and Occupational Health & Safety Management System (ISO 45001).
- **To ensure documentations related **, Medical Devices - Quality Management System (ISO 13485), FDA Quality System Regulation (21 CFR Part 820), MHLW Ministerial Ordinance No. 169, Environmental Management System (ISO14001) and Occupational Health & Safety Management System (ISO 45001) **are maintained up to date.**

- Develop and maintain sourcing and category strategies based on the BA strategic goals
- Evaluate, qualify and approve suppliers in line with the procurement strategy and corporate guidelines and best practises.
- Selection, appointing or discontinuation of vendors in collaboration with Procurement and Sourcing Director and other relevant functions
- Allocation of volumes and purchase value within the direct material area in co-operation with the Procurement and Sourcing Director and other relevant functions
- Negotiate contracts to ensure supply and capacity, low and stable pricing, fulfilment of quality standards, etc in collaboration with Procurement and Sourcing Director and other relevant functions including Legal Counsel

**CAPABILITIES; QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE**

**Education**:
**Experience**:

- At least 5 years of procurement & sourcing experience, supply chain or operational management experience, or other related experience
- Medical Devices or Medical related experience an advantage
- Knowledge within the field of gloves is preferred.
- International business experience is required including international travelling.
