Wirecut Machinist

**Education Requirements**:

- SKM Level 3/DKM Level 4/DLKM/Certificate/Diploma/Advance Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent work experience

**Skill and Work Experience**:

- Preferably 3 years of experience in knowledge of precision engineering on WireCut Programming
- Some experiences in precision industry
- Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprint and strong attention to details
- Ability to operate super-drill and EDM machine

**Responsibilities**:

- To read and interpret technical/engineering drawing and design model to produce cutting programme
- To generate different types of cuts (e.g.: rough cuts, finish cuts, link cutting passes, clean-up cuts after link cutting) through the CAM Software
- To set up machining sequence, optimise cut directions, specify the wire radius compensation, define the parameters, determine the number of passes for the bridge cutting, and the parameters determine the execution of the cut sequence
- To define the cutting speeds base on material of the work-piece for each cut of the wire to arise surface smoothness
- To define wire offset value (allowance, individual for each cut and taking into account the wire radius, burnouts, the power of the electric spark, etc.) and other parameters separately for teach cut
- To define start and end points of the machining, wire threading and cutting points, cone angle value and other relevant parameters for each contour
- To perform super-drill and EDM process on work-piece
- Troubleshooting issues during the manufacturing process
- Meeting production schedules and target for on-time delivery output
- Training and guiding to new staff on machine operation procedures

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
