You are to observe the following functions and responsibilities in your capacity as Operations Clerk reporting to the Operations Managers:
- To ensure all necessary and related documents are attached and in order before proceeding to the Customs Department for submission and obtaining clearance
- To collect Delivery Orders or Bills of lading from the relevant shipping agents or freight forwarders
- To obtain clearance or approval of all Customs declaration forms in time
- To ensure prompt collection of duty receipts after the relevant Customs duties have been processed through EFT
- To carry out examination of cargo and take samples for Customs inspection when necessary
- To collect container movement orders and gate passes from the shipping agents and port terminal operators respectively
- To ensure you understand the description of the products and the tariff code number used before proceeding to the Customs Department
- To feedback all Customs queries encountered during the clearance process on the same day of submission or the latest the following morning
- To use the mobile phone as a tool of communication for fast transmission of information whenever you are out of the office

**Salary**: RM1,800.00 - RM2,300.00 per month
