**Job Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Liaise with external auditor on statutory audit, provide supporting documents and calculations to close off auditor’s queries. Work closely with Supervisor to ensure audited financial statement is sign off within Malaysia’s reporting statutory timeline.
- Liaising with tax agent on annual company income tax, transfer pricing and any other tax related matters. Provide support to Supervisor such as tax analysis, computation and gather supporting documents to be furnished to the tax agent.
- Liaising with corporate secretary for company secretarial matters. Main liaison between local market and Shared Service Centre (SSC) ensuring smooth daily operations in AP, AR & GL.
- Participates in month end closing and year-end financial closing, involved in annual warehouse and stores stock count from SAP report generation to physical count.
- Works closely with external property negotiator on store contract renewals, liaise with legal team on the contract terms and documentation.
- Provide support to supervisor on a variety of company projects and perform any other duties assigned.

**Job Requirements**:

- Possess a degree or professional qualifications in Finance / Accounting with minimum 2 years of experience in similar capacity in retail/FMCG industry.
- Possess sound knowledge of accounting fundamentals and controls. Hands-on, analytical, meticulous, great with numbers.
- Have a positive attitude, great team player, self-starter & possesses good communication skills.
- Proficient in Excel with experience in using SAP.

**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
