**Objective**

To lead a diverse group of individuals to accomplish production and customer requirements in a safe and consistent manner following company policy, SOP’s and regulatory requirements. Monitoring the performance and training of production personnel to ensure quality, safety and performance standards are achieved. Assisting the Production Mgr. in increasing productivity, workflow and attainment of production goals. Work closely with Production Mgr. to meet and exceed production targets, reduce waste, improve efficiency and the achievement of the established schedule.

**Specific Duties**

1. Giving direction and guidance to production personnel

2. Providing training and the subsequent monitoring of production personnel

3. Conducting or directing the startup & in-process quality checks as required by specific work instructions or SOP.

4. Advising maintenance personnel of equipment issues as needed to maintain specifications and tolerances for the production being run.

5. Scheduling the required changeovers of equipment with maintenance personnel to achieve the planned production objectives.

6. Providing timely, accurate and legible documentation, ie; daily production report, line clearance, in-process checks, WIP inventory, etc.

7. Ensuring that all components and materials are on-hand, released and verified sufficient before the start of production

8. Maintaining a clean and safe workplace

9. Understanding of the equipment, components, processes and procedures required to ensure efficient operating of the production area.

10. Enforce 5S standards and compliance with SOPs.

**Miscellaneous Duties**

2. Maintain and advise management of adequate staffing to meet production schedule.

3. Other tasks that may be assigned.

**Qualifications**

1. Diploma or equivalent

2. 2 - 3 years of supervisory experience preferably in a manufacturing environment

3. Good interpersonal communication skills

4. Strong leadership, drive for results, detail oriented and problem-solving skills are essential.

5. Solid English communication both verbal and written

6. Good math skills

7. Detail oriented

8. Knowledge in ISO 9001:2015 & ISO 13485:2016 will be added advantage.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,200.00 per month
