Tastebuds is owned by Tastebuds Eatery & Services. It was born as a result of its founders’ passion for quality beverages. One of them is an ardent coffee fan and the other a tea-drinker. They developed the perfect idea to open a café that would be a mutual meeting point for both of coffee lovers and tea fans. Hence came the tagline ‘Tastebuds: Coffee drinkers’ haven, tea drinkers’ sanctuary’. Tastebuds started as a coffee café in 2007 offering a variety of local, international and fresh-brew coffee as well as specialty tea. It introduced a new concept of a full-fledged restaurant called Fusion Cafe in 2010. Then in 2017 we were awarded a tender to supply cook food for Hostel students at Sekolah Menengah Agama Durial Guling for two years. Beginning 2012 we have enhanced our scope of business by giving consultancy services to the government and companies in the area of F&B. We were involved in Azam Kerja Programme to supply food kiosks and to provide training to participants involved from 2013-2015. We also appointed as industry coach for INSKEN Business Coaching Program (Café & Restaurant) in 2019 & 2020) Currently we a developing Cloud Kitchen (virtual restaurant) that is designed for online ordering and delivery only. In this concept, we provide shared kitchen space for restaurant to offer their menu items with very minimum set up cost. Our vision is to be a leading player in F&B Industry by the 2030.
