We offer competitive salary and benefits, as well as a working environment where you’re valued as part of the team. - excluding partnerships Key Responsibilities: - Will be responsible for trading and market-making of MYR rates, bonds, term interest rate instruments, FX Spot. - The trader’s responsibilities include market making to BNP Paribas clients both locally and internationally. - The trader will also work hand-in-hand with the Sales team and Strategist providing them with timely market information and developing trading strategies in MYR. - To develop strong networking with both onshore and offshore counterpart’s in order to widen the distribution of risk and increased bank’s liquidity pool in MYR spot. - Communicate extensively with traders from other regional desks. - Maintain close relationship with local regulators and to ensure constant communication channels are open. - Work hand-in-hand with local ALMT on day to day duties.. - Address the needs of our clients in an open and responsible manner, with the highest standards of compliance, ethics and fairness. Full adherence to all regulatory and compliance requirements. - Make a direct contribution to BNP Paribas operational permanent control framework including the maintenance of good working relationships and open communication channels with all control functions. **- Bachelor's Degree in relevant field - Possess a PPKM (Persatuan Pasaran Kewangan Malaysia) license to be qualified as an authorized dealer. - Maintain PPKM licensing as an ERP (Employee Registered Persons) with SC (Securities Commission Malaysia) by meeting CPE (Continuing Professional Education) requirements. - Minimum of 5 years of prior work experience in a similar field **Primary Location**: MY-14-Kuala Lumpur **Job Type**: Standard / Permanent **Job**: FINANCIAL AND TECHNICAL EXPERTISE **Education Level**: Bachelor Degree or equivalent (>= 3 years) **Experience Level**: At least 5 years
