A recreation assistant is basically responsible for the coordination of recreational activities as well as administration within a local Parks Department. Possible areas of responsibility may include special events, overseeing recreational facilities, administration of youth programs as well as adult sports activities. Further activities normally include supervision of the community canter’s as well as the senior program.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
1. Monitors the operations of assigned recreation program areas and facility operations.

2. Prepares marketing materials, such as course descriptions, program brochures, newsletters, and announcements; uses social media and other forums to maximize community outreach and participation.

3. Administer all activities in pool area and ensure compliance to all safety rules and regulations and monitor all persons entering issues and ensure appropriate authorization.

4. Maintain neat and clean pool area and water at all times and perform everyday vacuuming and cleaning of pool.

5. Ensure neat and clean restroom and perform various chemical tests as per requirement.

6. Develop and maintain professional relationships with associates and residents and ensure compliance to all safety programs and policies of organization.

7. Organize and participate in all training classes and install and break down pool deck on everyday basis.

8. Manage and greet all guests pleasantly and ensure efficient supply of fresh towels to all residents and guests.

9. Coordinate with servers and provide optimal guest amenities and maintain clean glasses.

10. Provide optimal level of services to all guests and residents and ensure compliance to facility policy.

11. Implements and recommends effective maintenance and safety programs, procedures, and guidelines; conducts periodic inspections and ensures program facilities are properly maintained for optimal safety.

12. Performs routine facility maintenance and ensures repairs are completed as needed.

13. Coordinating logistics for facility rentals, including, but not limited to, providing tours and information to prospective renters, and implementing details outlined in rental agreements to ensure events are properly executed with optimal satisfaction.

14. Maintains records on program activities, attendance, and other pertinent information; prepares a variety of operational and business reports, and associated correspondence.

15. Performs other duties as assigned.

16. Inspect and operate equipment in compliance with the Squaw Valley | Alpine Meadows safety policies and procedure to avoid unnecessary collisions or unsafe practices

**Job Profile and Qualifications**:
1. At least Vocational diploma in any field

2. Good in inter-personality and supervisory skill

3. Proficiency in English

4. Good in driving results and people management and development
