A Brief Overview
This team member will be responsible for providing business analysis within the life insurance/reinsurance domain for a portfolio of RGA's innovative client facing digital solutions, including but not limiting to digital underwriting, claims, data aggregation and risk scoring solutions. The individual will be based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
What you will do
- Lead the business analysis activities to elicit, analyze and document clear and concise business requirements for new features and enhancements for our client facing solutions.
- Collaborate on a regular basis with the product owners, clients, local office business experts and technology teams.
- Understand the business context and support the product owners to maintain a backlog of prioritized features.
- Clarify business requirements for the IT team and provide context as needed during the IT build and testing process.
- Develop and execute user acceptance test plans and review the tests results and accept changes delivered by IT to ensure they meet business needs and client expectations.
- Document features, business outcomes for internal management and marketing purposes and training material for client side users.
- Provide training to client users where applicable and participate in the client support activities.
- Participate in the testing and evaluation of third-party digital capabilities.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) of engineering, science, medical from a top tier university required.
- 5+ Years Experience with the business analysis and testing of digital solutions used in the Life and Health insurance value chain - underwriting, claims or distributions functions required.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail: able to clearly link results to business and operational performance drivers; able to generate alternatives and drive positive changes required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to effectively communicate technical and business concepts to diverse audiences required.
- Highly motivated and able to function in the absence of complete information required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, and Agile software development lifecycle, working knowledge of cloud, latest tech and AI innovations in the Insurance Industry required.
- Ability to quickly adapt to new methods, work under tight deadlines and deliver desired results required.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills required.
- Experience with requirements management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps) and testing tools required.
- Ability to manage and build strong relationships with global, regional and remote teams across multiple geographies and time zones required.
- Strong stakeholder identification& management skills; ability to work effectively across functional areas and build relationships with all levels of personnel, customers, suppliers, consultants - both internally and externally required.
- Proficiency in one or more Asian languages preferred.
- Familiarity with user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) principles preferred.
- PMI-PBA required.
- PMP/Prince2/Scrum Master/SAFe certifications preferred.
- CSPO preferred.
