**About the Role**

We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented **R&D Assistant**to support our Research & Development team. This role does **not** require you to formulate products — instead, you’ll be focused on **cooking pastes, preparing samples, and assisting with basic lab testing**. Perfect for someone with a culinary background looking to branch into product development or the food manufacturing industry.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Prepare cooking pastes and sauces based on existing recipes or formulation sheets.
- Support the R&D team in small-batch cooking trials and production trials.
- Assist with basic lab tests (e.g. pH, viscosity, water activity — training provided).
- Help with sensory evaluation sessions and shelf-life testing activities.
- Accurately label, document, and manage test samples.
- Maintain cleanliness and compliance with food safety standards in the R&D kitchen/lab.

**Requirements**:

- Diploma or Certificate in Culinary Arts, Food Technology, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of hands-on kitchen experience, preferably in sauces/paste preparation.
- Able to follow instructions precisely and cook consistently.
- Willing to learn basic lab testing techniques.
- Organized, reliable, and able to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Prior experience in a food production or R&D environment is an added advantage.
