Why does this job exist and why is it critical?
- Project Management: Lead end-to-end project management for all sustainability (ESG) initiatives, ensuring timely deliverables and effective inter-departmental engagement.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Manage and engage sustainability leads across various divisions regularly and cohesively to drive initiatives forward.
- Monitoring & Evaluation: Track and evaluate the effectiveness, feasibility, financial efficiency, and impact of sustainability initiatives; recommend and implement necessary improvements.
- Campaigns & Events: Design and execute impactful sustainability (ESG) campaigns and events to promote awareness and engagement.
- Reporting: Oversee and manage inter-departmental reporting platforms; draft and prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for stakeholders.
- Policy Development: Draft and implement sustainable organizational policies addressing key sustainability concerns, and develop communication materials as required.
- Strategic Support: Support the execution of Maxis’ sustainability strategies, aligning with both short-term and long-term goals, and identify gaps with innovative solutions.
- Regulatory Compliance: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local and global sustainability/ESG laws and regulations, staying informed on trends and proposing relevant recommendations.

Minimum Requirements:

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on sustainability or ESG initiatives.
- Skills:

- Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Proficiency in monitoring and evaluating project outcomes.
- Ability to draft comprehensive reports and develop policies.
- Strategic thinking with the ability to align initiatives with organizational goals.
- Knowledge of local and global sustainability/ESG regulations.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications in sustainability or project management (e.g., PMP, LEED, or equivalent) are preferred.
